Alternative Radiopharmaceuticals for Medical Imaging
The primary objective of this joint CIHR-NSERC funding opportunity was to accelerate the development of clinically useful alternatives to the radiopharmaceuticals that are currently produced from nuclear reactors. This rapid response program was launched in response to the emergency closure of the National Research Universal (NRU) reactor at Chalk River and was intended to provide short-term impetus to speed the development of alternative radiopharmaceuticals.
