The 2023 Canadian Safety and Security Program (CSSP) call for proposals for micronets is now closed.
The Canadian Safety and Security Program is looking for innovative solutions for the challenge: Lighting the path with AI: Advanced analytics and decision support for first responders.
Innovators will establish research networks made up of multidisciplinary teams focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning and how it can assist first responders in decision making. Up to $2 million in funding is available for each successful proposal.
We are looking for proposals that exploit advances made possible by artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies in the following areas:
- big data and algorithm-based tools for strategic and operational levels of analysis;
- responder analytics for the frontline;
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for detecting tri-service/emergency management trends, activities, and information fusion; and,
- improved situational awareness science and technology supports that go beyond current industry offerings.
